This was a great model to work on and relatively straight forward by comparison to other Anderson vehicles we have developed.
A lot of good reference was available for the mobiles, however the issues with discrepancies between models was still in evidence.
One of the biggest challenges with the mobile is the colour. This is a hard task to get just right. Photographs that appear in magazines and books are only as good as the quality of the printing combined with the fact that the photographs are nearly 40 years old. There are many views on the colour that have grown over the years with the fans, however, after a lot conferring we feel we have got this spot on.
The Mobile looks very impressive indeed – a substantial and “meaty” model that would look great in any collection. Plans are afoot towards the end of 2008 to release a very limited edition of just 100 worldwide of S.H.A.D.O. Control – this would be a club members exclusive.
