SPACE VIXENS - glamorous, sexy, gun-toting, female freedom-fighters who work for the Science Vanguard arm of the United Kingdoms of Earth. Lead by CAPTAIN FELICITY BLISS they patrol the solar system in their rocket-ship, 'The Errol Flynn', and are equipped to deal with any threat to Earth security which may occur.
The Science Vanguard came into being two centuries ago when the human male had dwindled to near-extinction. Scientific efforts were made to combat the problem, which included putting one of the remaining men into suspended animation and protecting him at all costs.
Two hundred years later a new treat has moved into the galaxy in the form of VEIL DRAGANZA and what little is left of her life-sucking planet. Thus the scene is set for an on-going battle between VEIL DRAGANZA, who is determined to destroy the Earth, and the SPACE VIXENS, who are determined to stop her.

In development for over two years, our Iconic Original range of Space Vixens statues represents the accumulation of discussions, designs and a passion for all thing retro Sci Fi.
Wanting to develop our own first licensed product range, we started by asking ourselves what would we most like to see in the form of a Sci Fi/Fantasy statue collection?
As most of us here at IR are fans of the classic Flash Gordon serials, Forbidden Planet. The Day the Earth Stood Still etc we were drawn to the idea of creating a fun, slightly camp, kitsch and VERY retro range of female freedom fighters who travel the galaxy kicking ass but at the same time remaining incredibly feminine and well mannered (think Lady Penelope in a space suite!)
It took quite some time to come up with an overall 'feel' and look to the range while not being too slavish to one period, the designs draw upon classic 50s influences as well as 40s and particularly 1920s art deco. The most important thing was that they look absolutely fantastic and immediately evoke that feeling of when Sci Fi was fun and we all thought the future was going to a Jetsons one!
The world of the Space Vixens has become an incredibly detailed and embellished one. Story's, character backgrounds, space ships and weaponry have all been designed and developed so much so that as well as the statue collection, we are looking at taking the licence further into comic book form as well as an animated series! watch this space.
